Over the course of my life, I’ve had the tendency to really give a damn about what others think, well not “ALL others”, but I really cared about what my family thought about the things I did with my life. Even now, I find myself often worried about what my parents think, or what my sisters think; simply because I don’t want to disappoint them. I mean who REALLY wants to intentionally disappoint the people they love? I don’t think anybody does. However, while watching…

As a 27-year-old, I’d say it’s normal for me to want a significant other at this age. You know, hope to meet someone worth my time, whose vibes match mine, who I can enjoy some quality time with, do all that corny couple shit I like to do. If you don’t want that at whatever age you are, that’s cool too. However, at 27 it’s not ABNORMAL for me to want it. After moving to Houston I wasn’t in a rush to get a boyfriend…

It has been one of those weeks… and it’s only Tuesday. Adulting has taken a toll on me these last couple days and I’m kind of missing my childhood, hell I’m missing 2012-2016 when I was in college, anything is better than this right now. I was shedding a couple tears on the phone with my best friend Tiara yesterday ( I cry when I’m stressed) and I mentioned that “I hate being an adult, this shit sucks”. I said last year I was NOT going back to Missouri State’s homecoming. Once you’ve gone to one you’ve pretty much gone to all of them but this year I’m so glad I didn’t miss it. I got to see so many of my friends from school and at the end of my trip, my heart was SO FULL. We had so much fun, well at least I did. Friday night I seem to always have the most fun and by Saturday night I realize…

Recently, my sister’s and I took a sisters trip to Georgetown, Colorado. Y’ALL. When I say it was one of the most BEAUTIFUL places I’ve been so far, that’s what I mean. The air was so crisp, the mountains were high, the skies were blue and clear. IT. WAS. AMAZING. The pictures really don’t do it justice. The place we stayed in was an Airbnb, Shout out to Tom and his wife, it was a lovely 2 bedroom, 1 loft room chalet at the base of the…

As we all know, wear and tear of the household can happen over a period of time, it’s expected. Especially in Houston, you have EXTREME heat, copious amounts of rain, and sometimes flooding. So for your door to become old and weathered looking isn’t necessarily abnormal. My dad has been living in Houston for 10 years and his front door, unfortunately, has become worn over time. While we had some BEAUTIFUL weather this weekend I thought this would be a great time to refinish our front door. This process…
